Henrike Tönnes
Henrike Tönnes is a true child of the Ruhr. She grew up in Wanne-Eickel and studied English and Comparative Literature (M.A.) at the Ruhr University in Bochum until 2009. In addition to her studies, she was certified as a theater pedagogue (BuT), worked as an assistant director and dramaturg at the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the Theater Dortmund, among others, and was herself regularly on stage at off-theaters. She was seduced into professional speaking in Berlin and completed training at the Christian Rode Sprecherschule in 2015-2017. She is also a trained jazz and pop singer, performs on stage as a presenter and teaches and coaches at various universities, technical colleges and in the private sector. In 2014 she moved to Castrop-Rauxel, where she lives with her family. Since her 2 daughters are out of the woods, she speaks everything that comes before her vocal cords: radio plays, games, audio books, VoiceOver, audio guides, e-learnings, podcast intros, advertising, etc.. And she does it all in flawless British English.
